JohnnyU -King of the Crabs Holds on for 15-13 Win at the Crab House!

BNN Breaking News: Anchorage Alaska... JohnnyU/MollyMac rivalry continued in the Pacific Northwest Thursday night with Urogdy leaving Alaska as King of the Crabs!

It took every ounce of energy, a bit of fire and a little luck for JU to snag the ‘W’ in the epic battle. After Mac extinguished Crawford closing the gap to 14-13, JohnnyU held on in the final game to prevent Mac from winning back-to-back tourneys.

It started out with a 2-zip win for Mac before JohnnyU knocked down 6-staight to take an early lead, 6-2. From that point on it was neck and neck to the finish. Mac made it 6-3, JU 7-3, then Molly for two more making it 7-5.

JU went up 8-5 before Molly offered a cube in the 11th game, down by 20 pips. It was a smart cube, good dice, and effective tactics for Mac; Molly closed to 1 point, 8-7. And on the next game she tied it at 8s! The first tie since 2-2.

Urogdy breathing fireballs, knocked down the next two points to lead 10-8... but Molly answered back with a two-point win to tie at 10s.

At that point it would be a third-trifectoid battle to 5 to determine the victor. JU punched out the first win to lead 11-10 and then cubed for another win, making it 13-10 and putting Mac on the ropes.

There was no quitting for Molly who just came off a huge win during Hollywood week and finished off the rookie JennieJaggs in a 7-pointer last night, here in Anchorage. Molly rattled off two straight wins to make it 13-12. Urogdy stemmed the tide in the next game to illuminate the Crawford Sign. The crowd at "The Claw" groaned when the sign was accidently lit for Mac. But the fat-finger on the Crawford button was short lived and the light was flipped to JohnnyU.

As expected, at Crawford-12 , Molly brought in “The Extinguisher”... And extinguish she did! When the Crawford light went out, all you could see on the scoreboard was 14-13 with JohnnyU in the lead. It would come down to a final game.

The last game moved quickly as the players grappled for position. The showdown had Molly holding the Golden Point in Urogdy's inner board, looking for a hit or big dubs to make it a race, while Urogdy tried to move smoothly past. And that’s how it ended. JohnnyU playing a clean finish. 15-13 the final.

"This was a MUCH-needed win after Mac & LA got the best of us. Molly tried to claw her way back in this one tonight”, said JohnnyU as he made crab clawing gestures with his hands. “Made it super tough, but in the end, we dropped her in the boiling water and melted some victory butter. ", he added, smiling, then whispering “Splash”.

"We played with power. When JU made that early run, we lassoed the train and hauled him back to the station. The end was anticlimactic. Not a lot of drama. Lots of the fans left the complex feeling let down. When a player clearly sells his soul to the devil, things get a bit boring. The last couple games lacked soul.", MacIntosh commented to BNN’s Barbara Bearoff.

On the flight to Russia, BNN's gossip girl Kelly Kibitz asked JohnnyU to comment on Molly’s words. Laughing he replied,

"When it gets too HOT and you’re on the menu, run from the kitchen! Seriously, we loved having the Fireball in our dugout firing up are team and breathing on the dice. 'Ignite the Night' was the theme of the night. Fireball will be traveling with the team to Russia. Wonder what Fireball and Vodka taste like… Not sure, but I bet that will keep my soul intact."

Bones Spurs! Satanic Dice! The Big Mac!

The Ghost sits out. Urogdy wins! Not sure if it was bone spurs or if Pepper the Ghost wasn’t offered a ticket on the flight to Alaska. Sources are telling BNN, that he won’t be accompanying the team to Russia later this week.

But, if it’s gonna be a dead man’s party, might as hell call in the devil himself? We heard some satanic verses or something unnatural boiling over from Urogdy's coffee pot tonight. It may have been stirred with Satan’s pitchfork! We’ll let YOU be the judge.

But the real story isn’t weird voices or bone issues on entities that have no bones. The real story is the rise of the Big Mac! In 2021 she’s packin’ heat. Clearly an improved competitor this year, winning big games and claiming tourneys as her own. Everyone will be watching her dice when she starts rolling at The Diamond Center (Almaz Tsentr) in Novosibirsk, Russia.

Which diamond will shine brightest?

BOX News will be "Putin" it to ya!
