The Cube
Cape Town, South Africa

The Cube (Cape Town United Backgammon Establishment), is Cape Town, South Africa's gorgeous addition to what is already one of the world's most beautiful cities.

The facets of the building are cut into the skyline, like a fine diamond.
Kuba Dadu Mchezaji
Nairobi, Kenya

Africa's Green City in the Sun, cooled by the waters of the Nairobi River, is home to the "Dome of the Dice Player (Kuba Dadu Mchezaji)"

No one can control the weather or the dice in Nairobi. The retractable dome and offerings to the Backgammon Gods will help.

When the Gods are kind ... turn the mchemraba (cube).
Qasr al-nour (Palace of Light) Cairo, Egypt

Egypt's most passionate backgammon players live in a small peninsula near Old Cairo, a community surrounding the Backgammon Palace of Light.

The Palace is an ornate structure towering into the skies over Egypt, refracting colorful light through the enormous stained glass. A Mosque, museum, library, and many local merchants are found in the center, as well as "Gammon Hall".

Best mode of transportation to the palace is by camel, where at the base the animals are watered and stabled during your visit.
