Chip Checker - Senior Reporter

Chip has journalism in his blood, literally.  As a small boy Chip was involved in an automobile accident that required a blood transfusion.   

 

The great Walter Cronkite was visiting Boston Children's Hospital and upon seeing Chip's condition, he volunteered to donate his blood to the boy.​

​

Chip has been in journalism his entire career.  As a passionate amateur backgammon player in the 1990s, Chip seized an opportunity to join BNN when the opportunity arose.
