As a majority owner of the Crawford Group, The Captain (Ace Chouette) has funded projects including The Prime in Saratoga Springs, New York, the King Crab Complex in Anchorage, Alaska, and The Gammon Center sitting on the foothills of the Rocky Mountains in Boulder, Colorado.

Historical Note:  During the finals in Monte Carlo, The Captain rolled a 1 (an Ace) to hit his opponent's final checker. With beautiful play and dice on fire, Chouette rallied to win, bearing off all 15 before the lone soldier could round the board.  Since that day, the world nicknamed Alvin Chouette............. ACE.
